Balafon Afrofest Berlin what is it?
Balafon Afrofest Berlin is the annual African music festival that brings together some of the greatest African artists, to enhance the beauty of the diversity of black and African culture. It’s a festival that brings together Africans and blacks of many nationalities, thus promoting greater integration, but above all an atmosphere that usually reminds us of home, and makes us return for a moment to our native country, allowing us to relive those emotions that marked our childhood.
This year, we will have the chance to see incredible and renowned artists such as Diamond Platnumz, Young Jonn, Ko-C, Gaz Mawete and Nicky B Fly (African Queen) accompanied by great Dj’s such as Dj Chris K, Dj Aisher, Dj Gaga and even special guests. On the program amapiano, afrobeat, Congolese rumba, afropop, soukous and more…
So, what are you waiting for to get your ticket? It will take place at the end of April, more precisely on April 29, 2023 at the Verti Music Hall in Berlin. And the end of April means the beginning of summer, mild temperatures, warmth, conviviality, parties and quality entertainment. You can even throw your winter coats in the garbage (don’t do that). But especially for students, an opportunity to decompress before getting back into the student system.
